Orchards Green is working with development partners to provide 1200 new homes over the next five years. With a provision for private housing and affordable homes, properties of mixed size and tenure will be unveiled during a considered programme of phased delivery.

Phase One

The initial phase of 199 properties will be built adjacent to the Isle of Ely school by Hopkins Homes, with a sales complex open in early 2018 and first properties available for sale during summer 2018. Phase one will also include a care home along with new retail and community facilities. 

Phase Two

An area allocated for 244 homes is currently under offer with a national building company.

Phase Three

Plans are in place to provide approximately 300 residential properties.

Phase Four

Assigned for 91 properties to include a proportion of individual plots for self-build units.
